Inspiration

My best friend lives 498 miles away. What a tragedy! Seriously, this is one of your worst nightmares as a kid. But we make it work, phone calls, emails, and now blogging. Amber is such a WONDERFUL writer. Besides the fact that I am genuinely interested in what happens to her on a day to day basis, she writes beautifully and can put you right were she wants you. Under a car port on a spring day sipping ice tea, or falling down right beside her, intangled in various business men. Her writing as inspired me to write. Even if just as a response, so many times I have so much to say and ask after reading her blog, one of the downfalls of the distance, but hopefully this will just bring us closer.

I am going to start out on a very light hearted note, something I wanted to tell Amber about, but haven't had the chance to get around to it. I just purchased the Prevention skin care kit from Estee Lauder. I had skin issues in high school, but now that I'm in my 20's, it's pretty much leveled out to normal, but I hadn't found something that really made my skin look great and feel great. Well this stuff is it! I ordered it for the moisturizer, Daywear. My grandma has used it for years and it smells wonderful, like cucumbers, only better. When I went to the website (because who has time to go inside the mall to the makeup counter?) I saw this adorable green makeup bag,

and for only $20 more, I got the bag, a full size Daywear, travel size cleanser, eye cream and night recovery serum. I love it all! I will be an Estee Lauder user for quite awhile.
